Antonio Cavelli rich, super gorgeous alpha male needs a wife in name only because his father who he hates would upon his marriage turn over the shares of the corporation to Antonio. The catch is that his father wants him settled with a wife and child. Victoria is about to lose her restaurant because it's located on the block that Cavelli hotel is being constructed and when Antonio meets her and realizes she has a child the plan in his mind is set in motion. The book starts off nicely enough but it just never picks up. I felt no connection to Victoria or Antonio. I liked Sofia the maid and Luc Cavelli better than the main characters, and they were only in the book twice. At the end of the story you still don't understand why Antonio hated his dad. Antonio made a vague reference about him cheating and leaving his wife and also said something about a six year old sister who died of leukemia, but no connection to Luc. I would have liked to see how they got to talk to each other and made up, NADA. It just leaves you flat, you never know what makes this guy tick, or her for all her internal dialogs. Her son Nathan who was two years old held my interest longer. I can't really recommend this book very highly but if there is nothing else to read it's ok.Product details

this is very good better than I expected. If I go on about how much I like it I will be giving away spoilers.
